The Sportsbet Australian Cup Carnival is another step closer to kicking off after nominations closed for this year’s Australian Cup, Temlee & Zoom Top with some of the biggest names in the sport set to do battle.
With 83 nominations for the Sportsbet Australian Cup, it is expected that we see a full slate of eight heats for the time-honoured feature at The Meadows.
Joining the G1 heats on Saturday February 14 will be the hand picked Group 1 Temlee (525m) and Group 1 Zoom Top (730m), as well as two restricted win finals.
The Temlee/Australian Cup nominations are unquestionably headlined by superstars Canya Mayhem, Deadly Avenger & Slick Splits with all 83 greyhounds in consideration for Temlee selection.
